Though Diya Mirza, the Miss Asia Pacific 2000 was lucky with her debut flick 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein', she somehow failed to stay in the race. But, thanks to her charm, she is still a darling of many designers.

If you were asked to pick a memorable role of Lara, you'll definitely have a hard time. Though she was the one who crushed Priyanka Chopra's Miss India dreams in 2000, the latter outwitted her in acting skills, and went way ahead of Lara in Bollywood.

Femina Miss India 2002 Neha Dhupia's Bollywood affair is a decade old, and she still keeps going on with no big hits to boast of.

Parvathy Omanakuttan is the latest beauty queen to enter Bollywood. Her 'United Six' failed to make an impression. She is 23, and has got many years in her hand, but it's going to be a hard race for her if she is aiming for an acting career.

Yukta Mookhey, the Miss World 1999 is sinking into oblivion. She has only 4 hindi movies, a Bhojpuri movie, and an item number in a Tamil flick to her credit so far, and none of them were hits.

Priyanka's success scale lie between that of Ash and Sush. After a few initial flops, she has finally found her place in Bollywood and was lucky to prove her mettle by grabbing a variety of roles in a relatively young career.

Though Sush has conquered our hearts with her charm, she was a failure on big screen. Still, she maintains to stay on showbiz through endorsements and charity works.

Dianna Agron in Hiding to Escape from 'Loose Cannon' Ex Alex Pettyfer

'Glee' star Dianna Agron is reportedly in hiding from her ex-boyfriend Alex Pettyfer.

UsMagazine.com is quoting a source who is saying that ever since Agron split from Pettyfer two weeks ago, she has been "staying at a hotel under an alias."

And the reason for the secrecy is that since the split, Pettyfer has become "a psycho loose cannon."

An eyewitness is quoted saying that last week Pettyfer got into a heated argument with actor Sebastian Stan at a night club. Pettyfer went on to accuse Stan of allegedly hooking up with Agron.

A friend of the actress claims that "Dianna is terrified of [Alex]." The friend also said that Pettyfer has "absolutely lost it" and even threatened Agron over the phone.

Pettyfer's rep is saying that the actor made no threats.

It was revealed yesterday that it was a racy photo shoot that caused Pettyfer and Agron's breakup. Last year, Pettyfer stepped into a whole new world for a daring photo shoot with celebrity photographer Tyler Shields, but during the shoot, the 'I Am Number Four' actor got a little too close for comfort with models Lydia Hearst and Leven Rambin.

Lindsay Judge to Broker Plea Deal With Jail Time

The judge who will determine Lindsay Lohan's fate in the probation and grand theft cases will be the middleman in plea negotiations today between Lindsay and the prosecutor ... and sources connected with the case tell TMZ ... the judge thinks Lindsay should do time.

Lindsay will appear today before Judge Keith L. Schwartz, and sources connected with the case tell TMZ that during the hearing prosecutor Danette Meyers will present Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holley, with a formal offer to plea bargain the case.

Sources tell us Meyers has already told Holley any deal will include significant jail time ... but Lindsay steadfastly refuses to accept a plea that involves time behind bars.

Sources connected with the case tell us Judge Schwartz will propose that Lindsay accept jail time for the probation violation and three years felony probation for the grand theft case. But here's the BIG problem with that -- if Lindsay gets in trouble during the probationary period, she'll go to state prison.

We're told Holley has not seen the surveillance video yet, but Meyers will present her with her very own CD tomorrow -- before the hearing.If Lindsay doesn't accept a plea, the judge will set a date for a preliminary hearing. Source

She may be dealing with some drama in her personal life, but that doesn't mean Miley Cyrus isn't seen as a role model for today's youth -- at least according to one organization. The teenage actress was honored at a gala over the weekend, where she received the first ever Global Action Youth Leadership Award.

According to Digital Spy, fellow actress and Disney alum Hilary Duff presented the award -- which honors inspirational figures in the youth community -- to Cyrus at a ceremony in Los Angeles.

Cyrus revealed that Duff has served as her own inspiration in her career.

"I got to tell you that I never thought I would get an award from Hilary Duff," she said. "This is like a dream come true to me. She inspired me."

She continued her acceptance speech, urging kids to follow their own dreams, and not just the dreams of those around them.Source

Anna Nicole Smith Opera Debuts in London

Though it's been four years since model Anna Nicole Smith's unfortunately death, she's in the spotlight once again -- this time thanks to an opera about her own life. The "rags-to-riches" story of Smith's rise to fame -- titled 'Anna Nicole' -- debuted at London's Royal Opera House last night to a sold-out house.

"She is fame incarnate," the show's lyricist Richard Thomas told CNN about Smith and her life story. "It is a rags-to-riches story and a cautionary tale all chucked into a blender and whooshed up with three bags of sugar and two bottles of tequila and poured over a two-hour time frame."

Smith famously married multimillionaire J. Howard Marshall, who was 62 years her senior, and endured a lengthy court battle for his estate. She passed away suddenly due to a drug overdose in 2007 at age 39.

Thomas, along with composer Mark-Anthony Turnage aim to show a new side to the blond bombshell's life.

"It's a very universal story," Thomas said. "I wanted to tell a story about a single mom. She makes some good choices. She makes some bad choices. Then she runs out of choices."

"I hope it comes through that we, as writers, love her," Turnage added.

However, the men behind the 'Anna Nicole' opera are quick to add that the show is meant only as pure entertainment and not as fact. Source

Priyanka is ecstatic with the news. "Yes, Parineeti Chopra is my sister. This is the first time Yash Raj Films has launched someone in such a way. I am very happy YRF has signed her. She is a part of YRF's marketing department. In fact, she had worked on my own film PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE. I think it was one of her first films."

Leighton Meester's Mom Accused of Making Death Threats

Leighton Meester's character on 'Gossip Girl' may have been raised in the lap of luxury, but in real life, things on the home front have been far from perfect for the small-screen star.

According to RadarOnline.com, a Los Angeles judge has granted the actress's former friend Laurel Wiig a restraining order against Meester's mother and manager, Constance, who she has accused of making death threats. Constance, a former drug smuggler who gave birth to her actress daughter during a 10-year prison stint, is accused of threatening to "f**k up" and "hunt down and kill" Wiig.

"She is an addict and had made a threat to kill," Wiig described in court documents.

"Leighton Meester's mother has a history that seems as if it was scripted for a dramatic TV movie," RadarOnline founder and executive vice president David Perel tells PopEater.

Meester, who can currently be seen on the big screen in 'The Roommate,' admitted recently that she's dealt with the turmoil in her life by turning to music. "[I'm] writing music that speaks to me and is from my heart," she said, "and apparently, I'm really depressed."

Celine Dion Proudly Shows Off Her 4-Month-Old Twins

Celine Dion and FamilyCeline Dion was seen yesterday at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas where she came to begin rehearsals for her high profile show there set to debut on March 15 at The Colosseum and she did not come alone.

Dion came with her 4-month-old twins Eddy and Nelson in tow along with her husband and manager Rene Angelil and her 9-year-old son, Rene-Charles.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the twins wore matching blue baby grows and white hats, were cradled in their parents arms as they posed for fans and photographers at the steps of the hotel and casino.

Dion has revealed previously that she was originally supposed to have triplets this month, but lost one of the babies early in the pregnancy.

The names of the twins are significant for the singer and her husband. Eddy is named after Eddy Mornay, the producer who worked on Dion's first five albums.

Mornay was like a father to Dion. A rep of the couple said, "Eddy is a major influence in both Celine and Rene's lives."

Meanwhile, Nelson Mandela was the inspiration for their other twin's name. "Rene said that in just the few minutes they were able to spend with him, they were impressed by the human being he is," the rep continued.

"Celine and Rene want their children to be inspired by their names, because they were so inspired by these men," the rep added. Source

Michael Lohan Admits to Booking Lindsay on 'Letterman'

Lindsay Lohan's career may be in dire need of a jump-start, but contrary to reports, the troubled actress won't be appearing on the small screen any time soon.

CBS announced Tuesday that the 'Mean Girls' star would appear on David Letterman's show to deliver the famous Top Ten list, a claim now being refuted by the network.

CBS reports that they were duped into believing the actress would come on the program by someone claiming to be a member of Lohan's inner circle. Lindsay's father, Michael, has since come forward as the source behind the idea, telling TMZ that he thought up the plan after Letterman made a joke about Lindsay, which reportedly amused the actress.

Although Lindsay claims that she never agreed to appear on Letterman's show, Michael Lohan says that it was his daughter's handlers who stopped the plan from going forward.

"Anything positive that I bring into her life ... [her people] try to nix it."

The network released the following statement regarding the appearance this morning:

    "Lindsay Lohan will not be delivering a Top Ten list on Thursday's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, as had been previously announced. We made a mistake. Someone purporting to be a friend of Lindsay's reached out to the show yesterday, allegedly on her behalf, and booked her to appear. Clearly, this person was not authorized to make commitments on her behalf. We wish Lindsay well, and look forward to having her on the show in the future."

Despite Dina Lohan's assertion that things are "all good" with her daughter, the actress was accused of swiping a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, Calif., boutique shortly after leaving a lengthy rehab stint.

Following Lohan's entry of a not guilty plea, the judge trying the case told the troubled star, "You need to follow the law just like everyone else. You are no different than anyone else, so please don't push your luck. I'm telling you -- things will be different."Source..

Network Execs May Pull Female Reporters From Egypt After Lara Logan Attack

Just hours after CBS confirmed correspondent Lara Logan was brutally sexually assaulted in Egypt before being rescued by a group of brave women and soldiers, several network executives met to discuss if female journalists belong in the Middle East.

"It's terrifying what happened to Lara, and we would be irresponsible to not have internal conversations about if young female reporters should ever be put in such dangerous situations," a concerned CBS executive tells me. "However, the last thing we want to do is blame the victim for being a female."

What happened to Logan on Feb. 11 has sent shockwaves through American news organizations, with three different senior management sources telling me several networks are debating removing female journalists from Egypt altogether until safety can be guaranteed.

"There can be no doubt with two out of the three network news broadcasts being anchored by women [Diane Sawyer and Katie Couric] that women have proved they are as good, if not better, reporters than men. However, the simple fact exists that in certain environments, being a woman is more dangerous, and one such place is the Middle East," a top CBS source tells me.

But is it fair to exclude excellent reporters from covering important stories based on gender? A friend of Lara's tells me, "No way. What happened to her is terrible, but the last thing she would want is handing over dangerous stories to just the boys. After all, Anderson Cooper got attacked. What news organizations should be doing is everything they can to protect all their employees regardless of gender."

Esquire landed an interview with Logan just last week, on her way back to Cairo after being kicked out of the country the week before. "This is the Tiananmen Square of the cyber age," she told the magazine. "There's no question."

Reporter Foster Kamer incredulously asked Logan if CBS was "insured for this s**t" and if she was crazy to go back to the thick of the protests. "You know," Logan answered, smiling, "I don't worry about things like that." Source

Frankie Muniz Denies Being Suicidal and Assaulting His Girlfriend

A police report filed last Friday alleges former child star Frankie Muniz got into an intense fight with girlfriend, Elycia Turnbow during which he put a gun to his head and punched her, TMZ.com reports. But just days later, Muniz's rep released a statement that said the gun didn't play a part in the argument and that he never hit Turnbow.

The statement said: "Frankie and Elycia had an argument a few days ago. The police were called to the residence. A gun played no part in the argument and was voluntarily given to the police for safekeeping.

"There were no bruises and neither left the residence. He was not suicidal. She was not assaulted. They have been together since the incident; are still together and are moving forward with their lives and with their relationship," it concluded.

In the police report filed Friday, Turnbow claimed the 'Malcom in the Middle' star "grabbed a gun and held it to his head, possibly with the intent of committing suicide." She became worried and called one of his band mates to take him to the hospital.

Muniz's version in the police reports is quite different: he claimed Turnbow was screaming at him and he "fell and hit his head" which is why he went to the hospital.

Turnbow also alleges that when Muniz returned from the hospital, they couple started arguing again and the actor ""punched her in the back of the head, and threw her into a wall while in the downstairs bedroom." He denied this to police on the scene, saying, "I love her too much. She is the woman I want to marry."

The report says a loaded gun was confiscated at the scene but that there were no visible injuries. The cops warned the couple against future outbursts but didn't arrest them.

Lady Gaga "hatches" from egg, sports pointy shoulders

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Lady Gaga stole the Grammy limelight on Sunday by arriving encased in a giant egg, and crawling out of it to perform her new single "Born This Way".

Gaga, 24, declared in a Twitter message that she was "in incubation" for her live appearance. Aides said she had spent three hours crouched inside the egg with an oxygen mask ahead of her arrival.

Borne aloft by attendants dressed in scanty gold-colored garb, the egg was the latest in a series of stunts by the performance artist and singer. In September, she wore a headline-grabbing dress made entirely of raw meat that she wore to the MTV Music Video Awards.

Onstage on Sunday, she crawled out of the egg dressed in yellow and sporting what appeared to be pointed shoulder implants.

Away from the Grammy ceremony in Los Angeles, the singer made headlines by saying in a pre-recorded TV interview that she uses marijuana and whiskey to help write her songs.

"(I) drink a lot of whiskey and I smoke weed when I write. And I don't do it a lot because it's not good for my voice," the singer told TV news show "60 Minutes".

"I don't want to encourage kids to do drugs....And I don't lie. I'm not a liar. I built good will with my fans. They know who I am. And I'm just like them in so many ways," she added.

Halfway through the Grammy ceremony, Gaga had won three of the six awards she had been nominated for -- one for her album "The Fame Monster" and two for her song "Bad Romance."

"I had this dream when I was really young that I could be whoever I wanted to be," she said in her acceptance speech.

The singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, told "60 Minutes" there was always a point to her outrageous outfits.

"There's nothing that I've ever put on my body that I didn't understand where it came from, the reference of it, who inspired it. There's always some sort of a story or a concept that I'm telling," she said.

Aerosmith 'Crazy' Model -- Arrested on Rape Charge

Dean Kelly -- the ripped ex-model who skinny dips with Alicia Silverstone in Aerosmith's 1994 music video for "Crazy" -- was arrested on Monday on suspicion of rape ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us, 39-year-old Kelly allegedly lured an unidentified woman into his New Orleans home last November ... where he got her drunk, and then raped her.

The incident wasn't reported until last Friday, which explains the belated arrest. Kelly was released on $35,000 bail.

The Tulane University Police Dept. had been looking for Dean Kelly, aka Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt's character in "Fight Club"), who allegedly had been trying to get girls on campus to pose for nude photos. Now, a source close to Simpson tells PEOPLE that two simply married too young and weren't ready to balance their demanding work schedules with family life. "It was honestly a classic case of marrying young, having a kid young and growing apart over the years," says the source.

Ashlee and Pete married in May 2008, when Ashlee was 23 and Pete was 28, and their son Bronx Mowgli Wentz was born in November 2008. (Yes, do the math. Ash was certainly no virgin bride like big sis Jessica claimed to be when she first tied the knot!)

Ashlee has kept a low profile to focus on raising her 2-year-old son, but she's missed working and being in the spotlight. "Ashlee was the one with Bronx a lot of the time, and that's a lot," the source says. "Ashlee loves being a mom, but she also loves being a performer and she wants to badly get back to that."

Pete was "away from (Ashlee and Bronx) a ton working himself, and the balance was just off." Ashlee, who is 26, isn't the first in her famous family to have an early marriage and divorce. Her big sister Jessica was married at 22 and divorced at 24.

Lindsay's Jeweler: She Did This to Us Before

Four days before Lindsay Lohan allegedly stole the $2,500 necklace at the center of her felony case, she tried walking out of the same store days before with a diamond earring ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ ... but the prior incident could actually help Lindsay's case.

According to the report, on January 18, four days before the alleged necklace incident, Lindsay went to Kamofie & Company and tried on a pair of 18 karat gold white diamond earrings. Lindsay removed one earring and left the other in her ear while she shopped.

According to the report, "Ms. Lohan gathered her things and started to leave the jewelry store without making a purchase. Ms. Lohan's hair was flipped to one side covering the diamond earring."

The report states, "[The clerk] stopped her and reminded Ms. Lohan she was still wearing the earring. Ms. Lohan laughed, admitted to her mistake and removed the earring from her ear and returned it to [the clerk]."

The scenario involving the earrings is similar to Lindsay's conduct in the store when she left with the necklace.

Ironically, the earring incident could actually help Lindsay. She had absentmindedly left her own, more expensive earrings on the counter as she began walking out of the store with the single earring. And, people who know Lindsay say she's a scatterbrain who forgets basic things all the time.
